TVHSCMM45 Integrated Inductive Switch Chip

The TVHSCMM45 is an inductive switch chip developed by Chuan Zhou Semiconductor, leveraging hybrid signal sub-micron CMOS technology. This design integrates the coil and interface entirely within the chip, streamlining the detection of conductive targets without the need for bulky PCBs and coils. It features a built-in LDO with a supply range of 3.5V to 18V, offering either a current-type two-wire output or a three-wire output for leakage detection. The two-wire connection not only reduces wiring complexity but also facilitates diagnostic capabilities like reverse polarity connection and fault detection. Should the chip's junction temperature exceed a critical limit, its thermal protection system will cut off the output, automatically resuming operation once it cools down to safe levels. Applications include seat belt buckles, seat positioning, door locks and handles, onboard charging doors, and brake light switches.
